He delivered a seminar to the Team Leaders and Manager at the centre, which is
a really effective way to help build relationships with the care sector.
Feedback from Julie Humphreys, Day Opportunities Manager, said ‘it really
opened up the conversation around how we deal with bereavement and what happens
when someone dies. Not an easy subject, but one very much worth having. I have
promised to share the resources with our residential staff (who are often the
ones who deal with a person passing away in their home). It’s been especially
useful in my quest to develop an approach to this within day services’
