Area Manager Ben Letby describes Stephen Slack as a 'relentless team player' and a 'shining example of Being Co-op in our business'.
Stephen who is the Store Manager of our Chirnside Store has been responsible for keeping a number of stores trading in the area due to unforseen circumstances. Not only has Stephen kept these stores trading but he has also added value either through coaching the team in the moment or organising job swaps with his own store team so he can provide valuable training to new colleagues who want to develop their career.
Stephen recently volunteered to run 2 stores during a recruitment period and implemented a plan to improve both stores. The numbers show that both stores are reaping the rewards of Stephens outstanding coaching and passion for the business.
