When a distressed elderly gentleman walked into the Legal Services reception in the Bristol offices, Owen Coope was on hand to help.
Through talking to the gentleman it became clear to Owen that the man was confused and possibly a risk to himself and other road users. Keen to make sure that the gentleman did not leave, Owen and his colleagues offered him a drink and got in touch with the local police.
When the police arrived they brought paramedics with them and took the man to hospital. The consensus was that he had some type of dementia. The police were grateful for the swift action of Owen and reassured him that he had done the right thing.
Well done Owen!
